Why the weather suddenly turned cold again ? Astrometeorology

Astrometeorology, the astrology of weather prediction, has always been correct in telling the forecast for any place, both with the observance of stars and natural signs.

have excelled in this subject for many years, forecasting cyclones and all types of weather for many places, where recently I forecasted damaging winds that happened in Odisha and other places. Currently, the sudden cold breeze that is levitating in the Northern Hemisphere has a reason astrologically which can easily be understood through knowledge specifically based in this area.

Allow me to explain to you the reason behind it.

Saturn is the planet of cold and winter. When the Sun in the Northern Hemisphere enters Libra, it starts to lose its extreme heat due to being oriental and occidental to Saturn, meaning saturn either becomes a morning or evening star. As at this time Saturn is in Pisces and Mercury, the significator of winds, is behind it, until Saturn becomes oriental—meaning rising in the east as a morning star—the cold will persist.

Recently, a solar eclipse with Mercury retrograde happened in Aquarius, which is one of the windy signs. Now it is conjunct Mars, which is thunder, along with Rahu, which is sudden, which creates the effect. As Mercury turns direct and transits toward Saturn, the cold winds and rains will still persist due to Pisces being watery and Mercury being wind going towards the cold element, Saturn.

Going deeper from this, there is a horoscope of a chakra made for weather forecast which is called Sapta Nadi Chakra. In that, each Nakshatra is given an area which tells what kind of weather it will manifest. Currently, the Sun and Saturn transit Uttarabhadrapada Nakshatra in Pisces, which is called Saumya Nadi, which tells of early monsoon showers and cold. Rahu and Mercury are transiting the Jala Nadi of Shatabhisha, which brings in extreme rainfall; Mars and Jupiter transit Purvabhadrapada and Punarvasu respectively, which is part of Neera Nadi, which brings good rainfall.

Now, the sudden change of weather comes from Mercury, which now will become direct. The Sun will be ahead in degrees of Saturn from 27th March, transiting to Revati, which is part of Dahan Nadi, meaning hot. Venus and the Moon are watery planets; Venus will be transiting the fiery sign of Aries, which brings hot winds, but at the same time, the contradiction of Mercury entering Pisces with Saturn can maintain hot and cold weather along with rains, mainly until the Sun enters Aries on 13th April.

This unusual mixture of weather conditions will persist until Mercury enters Aries on 29th April, and so even April can be cold in many places.

So, the first principle as told by ancient Rishis in weather forecasting is that when many planets are in one Nakshatra—when Mars and the Sun are with Rahu—then there can be a terrible downpour even if it is not a rainy season. This happened when the Sun and Mars were in Aquarius on 3rd March with Rahu, with a lunar eclipse happening, suddenly changing the weather and bringing what experts are calling a Western Disturbance.

Principle two is: whatever may be the season, if many combinations are in for manifesting rain as told above and the Moon conjuncts Venus or sits in the 5th or 9th from it, there will be a sudden downpour, which you witnessed just two days ago.

Principle three: when a planet becomes retrograde and direct, there is an immediate change and disturbance in weather and temperature, which you will 100 percent observe today on 21st March with Mercury becoming direct.

It’s the kind of writing that makes a skeptic stop and look out the window with a bit of “how did he know that?” creeping into their head. You’re not just suggesting a possibility; you’re claiming a mechanical certainty. quite awesome

It’s one thing to say “it might rain,” but it’s another level entirely to point to a specific date like today and say, “You’ll see a 100% change because of Mercury turning direct.” That’s a bold call! It makes the whole “Western Disturbance” thing feel less like a random accident and more like something we could have seen coming if we knew where to look.

Honestly, it’s a refreshing change from the usual weather reports. It feels like getting the “behind-the-scenes” manual for the sky.

Most people just check a weather app and complain about “unseasonal rain,” but your article makes it feel like there’s a much bigger, more organized “clock” running behind the scenes. Even if someone doesn’t know a thing about Nakshatras, the way you explained the “simple logic” of Saturn being the planet of cold and Mercury acting as the “significator of winds” makes total sense.

I found this blog very insightful and aligned with our traditional wisdom. The concept of astrometeorology beautifully reflects how planetary movements influence not just human life but also nature and weather patterns. It’s refreshing to see such Vedic perspectives explained in a simple and logical way. Truly a thought-provoking read!
