The Truth About East-Facing Homes: Only 2 of 8 Entrances Are Truly Auspicious
Published on in Vastu Shastra
There’s a common misconception that any east-facing home is automatically Vastu-compliant and auspicious. While it's true that east is considered a direction of spiritual awakening and divine blessings, not all entrances on the eastern side of a property are beneficial according to classical Vastu Shastra.
In reality, Vastu classifies the eastern side of a plot into eight equal parts (padas). Out of these eight divisions, only two specific entrance points are considered truly auspicious and energy-enhancing. The remaining six may potentially bring disturbances, health issues, financial obstacles, or a lack of mental peace if not corrected properly.
Therefore, simply choosing an east-facing property does not guarantee positive results. If the entrance falls in any of the non-compliant padas, proper Vastu remedies or alterations must be made to align the energies and restore harmony.
Before finalizing or constructing an east-facing home, always consult us to identify the exact entrance pada and make informed decisions for long-term peace, prosperity, and well-being.
